In my previous article titled "Is it the right time to buy the Le Mans Daytona 126529LN from Clean?", I mentioned that the Clean Le Mans Daytona featured a false 24-hour chronograph function. Following this statement, many watch enthusiasts pointed out that I was incorrect. Consequently, last night, I acquired another Clean Le Mans Daytona for further testing of its 24-hour chronograph functionality. Upon activating the chronograph button and allowing it to run for one hour, the small hand on the subdial at the 9:00 position precisely aligned with the 1:00 marker, as shown in the image below. This marker is correctly positioned between the 24 and the 2:00 black indicator. This confirms that the Clean Le Mans Daytona indeed possesses a genuine 24-hour chronograph function. However, it should be noted that this test was conducted over only one hour, not a full 24-hour cycle.

Why did the results of the previous test differ? The discrepancy may stem from the movement used in the earlier batch of watches. Specifically, it appears that a very limited number of pieces from the previous batch were mistakenly equipped with an older version of the SH4132 movement rather than the latest iteration. Therefore, if you are considering purchasing this Daytona model from Clean, it is advisable to request your supplier to conduct a thorough test of the chronograph function prior to shipping to ensure its authenticity as a true 24-hour chronograph.
